Make the most out of your Bridal Binder!

first things first

Download on your iPhone or iTouch.

Bridal Binder will ask you to enter your wedding date and preliminary budget.

Tip
Your wedding date and budget can be changed at any time! Click the blue information icon and change.  Bridal Binder will automatically modify your timeline/task dates and budget allocation accordingly.

timeline/tasks

Bridal Binder tasks are systematically designed to assist you with the flow of planning.  This timeline is prepared by a wedding planner with over 20 years experience.  Unlike most timelines, it is comprehensive and detailed:

  • From home, click on Timeline Key.  The tasks have been automatically dated by Bridal Binder according to your wedding date.
  • Click on a specific task.  Click To do Icon or Done Icon.  Press Save Icon.
  • Change the date of the task:  Click Save Icon, dial new date.  Press Save Icon.
  • Make notes: Select task, click on the task again (seeing entire entry), and add notes or comments. Press Save Icon.
  • To return to complete task list, press Back Icon
  • Add a task.  From main task list, press  (more arrow).  Press brown box, type in task.  Click Save Icon.
Tips

Wedding Planner Tips are found on most tasks.  Press the blue information icon . These tips are created by your pro wedding planner.  She utilizes these reassuring hints to her clients on a daily basis!

The red number on your bridal binder icon makes you aware of the number of tasks you have yet to complete this month and adjusts as you progress.

 

 

budget

The Bridal Binder budget keeps you aware of your expenses and provides you with industry guidelines of costs per category.

Bottom Line:
The Large White Number at the top of your screen is the bottom line budget you entered on the "home" page.

Actual Expense:  How much of your budget you have spent.

Variance:  How much you have left to spend. 

If you are under budge, variance is green.
If you are over budget, this number is (red).

Categories:
Enter actual money spent:

  • Click on category
  • Press More Icon arrow. 
  • Click on large brown square to make notes, press done. 
  • Click on Date Icon and enter date spent, press Save Icon
  • Click on $ box, enter money spent, click done.  press Save Icon.
  • To enter another expense in the same category:  Click on More Icon arrow and enter the next expenditure, date and money spent.  Click Save Icon.

Example:  Stationary often has many expenditures including save the dates, invites, postage, programs, etc.  With bridal binder, it's easy to keep track!

From Home, Click:

  • Budget
  • Stationary
  • ClickMore Icon
  • Large tan box, type in "save the dates", click done
  • Enter date spent, Save Icon
  • Enter dollar amount, Done Icon
  • Save Icon
  • To add invites, programs, escort cards, etc., press the more arrow and continue same process.
    Bridal binder will add all items in each category for you.
Tips
You can change your budget AT ANY TIME on the home page .
Bridal Binder will automatically change your bottom line, each category budget and variance accordingly.

Under each category, if you spent more then the allocation, the numbers will be red.  If you are under budget, or have not yet spent anything in the category, numbers will remain blue. 

You can change the amount spent at any time per category.  Simply click on the line item, revise pricing and press Save Icon.  Note:  if you change the dollar amount to "0", enter "0" to record.

Many a bride feels lost in the vendor selection process.  Finding the right "team" to surround you on your wedding day is not something to take lightly.  The bridal binder is here to be your guide and support. 

From home, Press Vendors Key

The Bridal Binder lists 18 vendor categories.  Press your desired category.

At the top of the page, you will see three groups:

Research: These items will help you BEFORE you even begin to interview vendors.  They will help you to explore and determine your sense of style and remain efficient.  Most importantly, the research section prepares you for interviews to properly communicate your unique and specific needs to vendors.

Questions: Designed by your wedding pro with 20 years of know-how, these questions are utilized at your vendor interviews.  Simply click on the question, click on it again (for full view), and you are able to take notes at each interview.  Compare vendor answers after your interviews without the use of paper!

Follow-Up: Be thorough and follow-up with vendors correctly.  This section provides information on vendor expectations, contract requests, and how they may assist you during planning.

At the top of the page, you will see three groups:  research, questions and follow-up.  Simply click on one of the three to access.

Additional Hints on Vendors:  Yet more info from your pro wedding planner!  Press the blue information icon at the top right of the main vendor page. .  There are general tips, as well as helpful information for each vendor category.
