New Bridal Binder Wedding Planner Application Launches
Now available on iPhone and iTouch
February 28, 2010 - Gone are the days of complex wedding planning for the bride to be. The new Bridal Binder application is a comprehensive personal planner now available on the iPhone and iTouch. The most innovative of any existing applications, it offers over a dozen additional features that will seamlessly guide the happy couple to the altar.
Developed by Meg Stepanek, renowned wedding planner and owner of Gemini Event Planning in Vail, Bridal Binder was inspired by the hundreds of weddings Stepanek has planned over the past 20 years. Stepanek specializes in luxury and celebrity weddings and has been featured in Platinum Weddings on the WE network, as well as prominent publications such as Town and Country Weddings.
“I am thrilled to share my experience through the Bridal Binder application,” says Stepanek. “The application is simple to use, yet offers a wealth of knowledge and insight to the savvy bride to be. It is available at any time of the day and keeps the bride organized and informed, giving her the freedom to enjoy the planning process.”
The concept of the Bridal Binder is simple - the bride enters in her wedding date and budget, and the Bridal Binder creates a personalized guide for the bride to follow, complete with a timeline and checklist. The checklist reminds the bride of specific tasks such as choosing a color palette or mailing invitations. Additionally, the bride is offered support throughout the process with tips specific to each task, including advice ranging from choosing your menu to gathering decor inspirations. Tasks can be personalized and updated based on the bride’s needs.
The Bridal Binder provides a thorough tool that will assist the bride with the budget process. Upon entering the wedding budget, the application estimates cost per vendor. The Bridal Binder alerts the bride if she is over budget and constantly keeps her informed about variances. If there are any changes to her overall budget, she simply changes the bottom line and all items are updated.
Choosing the appropriate vendors can be an overwhelming process. With 18 vendor categories, the Bridal Binder shares insight on researching vendor selections, communicating style to vendors of interest and negotiating advice. It is loaded with questions to ask vendors during the interview process, and offers note taking availability and follow-up guidance. Similar to the task list, specific vendor tips are available for the bride to utilize.
The Bridal Binder provides fresh, up to date information with a live blog that is consistently updated by Stepanek. The blog keeps brides in the know about what’s new in the bridal world and provides a forum to share information and ask questions.
The Bridal Binder application is available on iTunes and costs $6.99.
